new classic 911 motorsport creation
Here are a few images of my newly built 911. Built to suit many disciplines and with 280 bhp and sub 1000kg it is pretty quick

Re: new classic 911 motorsport creation
Hi All
Yes not really sure what I'm going to do with it if the truth be known. Bit of an expensive ornament at the moment!
With regards to the engine it is a Strasse built and developed 3.0 litre, mahle motorsport pistons (10.5.1), G60 cams , machined internals, flowed heads, Gp B manifolds, Webers and MSD igntion
mated to a Strasse motorsport gearbox with GT gears (close ratio) and LSD. The car is virtually new with Prepfab supplying the shell to the latest spec along with numerous new parts. I got a bit carried away really!
I ran the Bikini Racing 911 for many years and had a lot of good results (and a few not so good!) and used all of this experience in this new build. I kind of miss the old car as it was a bit battle scarred but always battle ready where as this is a bit too nice to use!

Looks lovely Tim.
I know what you mean about too good to use, but a few runs in it, stone chips here and there and it will lose its 'newness'.
I did hear you were looking for a 205 Gti, or was that a vicious rumour?

Re: new classic 911 motorsport creation
Hi Keith
It was a thought but really viable. Got a few ideas in mind but need to decide if I want to go out and just have some fun or build/ buy something that will be competitive and not an escort. Richard Lepley at prepfab motorsport is building an historic spec rally cross car at the moment which will be ready to run fairly soon. Not sure it’s my thing but will watch with interest. I think there are images on his Facebook page
