I can get replacements from PRS with their Oldham Coupling. Any thoughts much appreciated.

Cheers,

Ollie

Ollie,
I am afraid that that those are knackered

The PRS price of £120 is for the supply of Modified Good Used Gears in exchange for Good Standard Used Gears

In this instance, as your gears are unusable there would be an additional charge for either Good Used or New Gears

Next problem - we do not have New Gears in stock but NOT New Modified Gears in stock.
This means that we would have to set-up the surface grinder to modify just one pair of gears which is just not commercially economical

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

Hi Ollie

I have a used set of gears which might do for exchange, they are certainly better than yours. You can have them for cost of postage if it will help.
I'll take a photo if they are of use.

Hi Barry,

The gears have arrived and they look perfect.

Thank you for your generosity, I have made a donation to the DDK Charity.

Also, thank you Mike for the advice.

Kind regards,

Ollie
