This is a bit freaky. A good friend of mine John, who owned a 356B T5 which he sold last year had an auntie who lived in Merton. Poor auntie passed away last year after a goodly innings and John and his wife had the none too pleasant task of sorting and clearing all of auntie's possessions. There was a garage with the flat that auntie had rented out after selling her car when she stopped driving. The chap who rented the garage had his car stored there, he paid his rent on time but was advised the flat was to be sold and he would have to vacate the garage. So after this chap had moved his car he advised John it was all clear. It was only then that he learnt that the car in store was in fact a 356, albeit rather rusty he was told. Anyway this little gem is now residing in Billingshurst which is about 5 miles from where I call home. So are you out there? Is it your 356? Hopefully you're a DDK subscriber.
