New member, SC owner from Surrey

Post by Phill »

Hi,

I'm Phil and I own a 1978 Arrow Blue 911SC. I have owned it for about 12 years and have been tinkering with since the beginning. I have been active over on ImpactBumpers.com for about 11 years and I fairly and squarely blame everyone there for the number of modifications made and time spent working on the car
Mainly minor, light mods I have, among the many things I have forgotten I have done, backdated exhaust and heat, Boxster front brakes, many deleted items, front cross brace, ducktail etc etc.
I try to do as much to the car myself and last year replace the near side kidney, sill end and various other bits of rusty metal.
Anyway, there is always an ulterior motive for joining a forum (which is usually help with stuff) and this instance it is no different. I have just embarked on an EFI and Triumph throttle body conversion. This is not my strong point and I know several here have done this. I hope to gain some help and advice from the likes of Impmad2000 and others (please).

So when I figure out how to embed pics I will post a couple of my car and I look forward to speaking to and perhaps meeting some of you.
Phill

Ok, first question. Do I need to use a 3rd party hosting site to display pics here or is there another way that I am missing?

Thanks all for the kind comments :thumbright:

I have opened an Imgur account and shall upload more pics and start a throttle body thread with links to what I have already done. It's a very interesting project although being a bit hampered by the bad weather.
