Hi everyone. By way of introduction I am a bit of an ex - Porsche fanatic, but still with a 996 Carrera 4 LHD over in Italy.
I have had (in order) a 1970 911T Targa - trouble free and sold to Majorca in 2007 - A 996 Carrera 2 3.4 as my everyday transport for 2 years, also trouble free - A 3.0 RSR FIA Historic Race/Rally car rebuilt from a 1970 911S (a not to be repeated bare shell shot blasted and rebuild experience) which I then used competitively for a few years in Europe with some successes but a lot of hassle! Sold to Amsterdam.
There remain in my garage some worthwhile parts, mostly but not exclusively from the 1970 911S. I'll eventually get round to posting some details and photographs I hope....

Re: New Member
Scottish connection is that I live in Edinburgh.
We competed under Carrera Ecosse as a team name with the RSR and latterly with an Escort RS, based in Italy most of the time but now back in Scotland.
