1971 911 2.2T to S/T - Sport Purpose

Post by Maxige »

1971 2.2T. It is a matching numbers car (for what is worth) but been modified keeping strongly in mind a period “sport purpose” look/idea. Loads of original NOS parts have been used during the 2 years long nut and bolts restoration. The rear arches are S/T steel arches while the front ones have been carefully hand tapered. Spec is too long to post but here is the most important bits: Bilstein Sport Suspensions, Sport Bushings and RSR Sway Bars (20mm fully adjustable), Larger Anti Roll Bars (19mm front, 23mm rear), RSR Spec Strut Bar, RSR Spec Chassis Reinforcements, Turbo Tie Rods Kit, De-cambered Ball Joints and Bumper Steering kit, larger Brake Master Cylinder (23mm) and Stainless Steel Braided Hoses, “S” Front Brake Calipers and Zimmermann Discs. Engine Soft Tuning including Woessner High Comp Pistons 10.3:1, Heads Polished, Carburettors Tuned and Sport Filters, Racing Headers and Twin Tube Muffler, Bosch HKZ Ecu with racing map, Gearbox differential plate reinforcement, brand new electrical cables etc etc

Been a labour of love as you can imagine, but as they say, onwards and upwards!

Car been mantained and serviced by Historika here in the UK. They know the car very well and I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to talk to any prospective buyer.

Asking GBP 130k, afraid no offers
