Firewall/gearshift bush

Post by Dean.s »

Anyone know the correct part number for the bush that fits in the lower rear firewall and cushions the gear shaft selector?

Alternatively (apart from buying USA repro) what have people done with this when replacing?

Spoke to my local Porsche parts supplier and I will have the firewall bush (friction ring) and the gear change cup on Wednesday.

Picked the bits up today

The ball socket on the gear change didn't get any results using the 914 part number.

It is found under 911 424 139 01, tried it and it fits.

The firewall bush (they call it a friction ring) is part number 914 424 224 03

£20 the pair.
