Bushes

This week I stripped the front and rear suspension in its entirety from my tub.

Question is what bushes are available in urethane?

The car is a 75 S backdated. It has front and rear antiroll bars.

Is it normal to replace the front wishbone bushes as they seem to be rubber vulcanised onto the pivots. I don't have any cause to suggest they have failed but don't want to reassemble worn components.

Advice and opinion as ever greatly appreciated. ( I must learn how to post some piccies of this marathon bare metal project)

Do a search on this site. Ian Donkin wrote up a very useful description of work he did using bushes from, I think, Nick Moss/early911

As Mick suggests, get the SuperPro bushes from Nick. They made a huge difference to my car and they don't squeak at all.

They are also very easy to fit - I know someone that put another type in the front of his car and a) they were rock hard / difficult to fit and b) you can now hear him squeaking his way up the street from 800 yards away.

I'll get a set of Superpro Bushes from Nick.

Can I read into this that the front wishbone or A arm bushes are replaced with Urethane within the scope of this kit ?

Replacing the front wishbone bushes is easy once you have cut off the old rubber (messy and time consuming, hint: peel if off like skinning a rabbit.)

The rear bushes are much more time consuming and will equire the ride height to be set and the suspension aligned, the front ride height is very easy to set.
