Re: jets for solex carbs
The main jets are the same as those on Mikuni bike carbs. Look on Ebay. The only difference is the diameter of the broadest part where the screwdriver slot goes. I bought a few sets when I was playing with the jetting, but I don't have any 120s I presently have 122.5s in, but tried 117.5 and 115.

I bought mine from Eurocarb

You may need to call them as they don't appear to be listed on the website.
Great service from them too.

Re: jets for solex carbs
This brings me to my next job.
Could anyone point me to a guide for determining what jets I should have in my car before I start fiddling? It seems to be overfueling at idle and when on a run.
If a standard jets could be ordered then I wot have to strip to find out what's in it then strip a week later.
Finding spare time is the hardest thing

What choke and size carbs? Do you have 1720 engine. I think the starting point is 55/115?

solex 40 pii 4 split shaft specs

solex 40 pii 4 solid shaft specs

BUT - if you're running 1720 maybe need slightly bigger than stock main jet
AND - if you're running webbers then it's a whole other story.
