Re: swab Front wings
Oh and an additional hole in the headlight bowl for wiring. Might be a lab headlight bowl thinking out loud

Re: swab Front wings
I tried fitting a repro MGB front wing years ago, not good but wasn't apparent until it came to getting a decent ish fit. Steer clear of repro if you want a chance of a half reasonable fit. HTH

Re: swab Front wings
Do Dansk actually press a SWB wing or only a 69 onwards slightly more flared wing with different light pods ?

Re: swab Front wings
the reason I asked about Dansk. just pick my 1966 912 (on a trailer) in need of restoration. went back via http://www.gmundcars.com/ for them to look it over and give me some pointers . Andy at Gmund said to get any parts from Dansk as they us them for parts
I'll have it on a ramp in the next week or so. I'll post photos on a new thread

A skilled metalworker that companies charge a high rate per hour to have work on your car would get them to fit but most of us are hobbyists, me included.

Yes they are its a whole different structure.
How bad are your wings? you can certainly buy new indicator boxes and headlight bowls. Repairing the double skinned areas of the wings is certainly doable with a little time and a welder.

Re: swab Front wings
Hi All
I agree with Sean, I bought 2 wings, 2 quarters & 2 door skins from Cambridge OPC and they gave me a very good discount 2 years ago. More importantly they are very close the originals, fitted well without much work and compared to other suppliers are far superior in quality/gauge of metal in my opinion.
If you are going to all the trouble in the first place I would consider them well worth the extra money, certainly my body shop thanked me.
Cheers
