I bought it with a view to building an outlaw style 914 - with a few nods towards a 916 - so it comes with a smooth targa top as well as the usual Textured one etc. I am now into a karmann ghia TC build so the 14 is unloved and out of favour.
The car is pretty solid and the floors and majority of usual trouble spots are great - the hell hole will need work, but the bulkhead is good , and a small area of the typical rear boot floor being the main points of welding concern.
The interior isnt great, the motor has dual webers, and a decent exhaust - the body is good apart form the drivers door which is dinted due to a check strap failure ... lights etc work fine and it is a a viable car to build or restore ... The most significant point being its original colour Sepia Brown ! Which should be reason enough to slap down a deposit and get suitably unnecessary.
