hello
didn't get a chance to post to say I was going to try and make, which I did.
unfortunately I didn't know anyone by sight so didn't get a chance to meet anyone, hope you all enjoyed it, maybe next time I'll get a chance to post to say I'm going
saw a red 911s, a black 914 drive past, the red 911 with the patterned interior on the other side of the road, the RS (who told me Keith was around but arrived in the 308) but no-one sporting DDK badges
my was the work-in-progress targa parked under the bridge
cheers
stuart

Sorry to have missed you buddy.. I think virtually all the cars there had DDK stickers dude!
Even my Mustang
It was a great night indeed met up with all the dudes.. I think next time I'll wear my DDK shirt and also my club jacket as it is quite difficult to know who everyone is.
Sorry we'll be more visable next time buddy.

G'day,
It was good to meet up with you folks last night. And there was certainly an impressive selection of machinery down there. One of my favorites was the yellow NSU TT - I started looking to import one of those instead of buying my Porker (the search for a good 911 was starting to get long and boring...).
I saw an orange / red Targa joining the North Circular just as I left it, so I guess that could be Stuart (around 8:30pm or so?). Sounded nice anyway.
The 90 mile drive back up to Leamington was good. Managed to get more fuel, so I had enough reserves to give it v-max at times (leaving a 110mph Cayenne behind
).
Not sure when I'll make it down there again, but it's definitely worth the trip...
Cheers folks,
Paul.

Well done for making the trip Paul, sounds like you had a great drive back, and I'll second Alam's comment, nice exitDyno Soar wrote:Paul that was a great exit from the ACE.. we knew you wouldn't let us down. You made the Ferrari's exit look even more soft!
It was good to see you down there and shows that your a real driver making the long drive down.

Saw you today taking the 914 for a spin. Did you manage to fix the rod?
Good luck with the garage hunt, be great to see your car in the area soon

Saw your Targa on my first stroll to see what was parked under the bridge. Later a chap with a Yellow 308 said that there was somebody with a red targa looking for me. So went back to your car to look for you. Nobody there. Next time I went back you were gone. We stayed until after 11. Will probably be there next month so will see you there perhaps.
Keith
