Re: Name that car
Top pic looks just like a Series 1 XJ, but the bottom pic doesn't.

Re: Name that car
Is it a one off Jensen prototype ?
The type of car that might win the show ?

I need to have 'a word' with my new friend Steve !mycar wrote:Is it a one off Jensen prototype ?

Although CQuest8 (what does he do for a living ?) was probably going to get there sooner or later.
Jensen P66 prototype from 1965/66, a one off and the last 'true' Jensen before the company was taken over by the Norcros Group.
I think that what surprised me and others was the appearance of a unique, historic, immaculate and roadworthy car at 'our' little show.

Re: Name that car
Beautiful. Surely Jensen's missing link, just before the interceptor went into production ? Could have been a Frua of even a Ferrari, those 60s GT's were really something weren't they ?

That is lovely, not sure I would have got all the way there though!Bewildebeest wrote:

Since you asked, I work in London (in post-production) but live in Devon. My username is my first initial and part of my surname.

Re: Name that car
No offence intended Chris - I thought I could see sequestrate in your username.
As for the Jenny - you did pretty well based on 2 rather unhelpful photos. Posting prototype pics probably isn't cricket.

Don't worry, none taken.
I had to look up sequestrate and am pleased to say I would be completely useless at that kind of work, I'm much too nice!
