Foot pedal bracket

Hi all,

My front floor pan is getting some work which will include pedal area. There was a metal plate bolted in on top of the main floor pan where the accelerator pedal fixes but nothing underneath. Am I right in thinking I should have one of these?



I think I have seen photos of this fitting underneath the main floor pan?
