Here's just a few pictures from the 911 and porsche world magazine picnic at hickstead.
Lovely weather and a nice little meet, hopefully it will be better next year with a few more trade stands and more than one stall in the autojumble.

Good turnout I thought, ideal weather gave it every chance. Sorry I missed you, Karl!

The chap leaning in nearly bought it! It was one of those casual conversations that suddenly went serious: all of a sudden we were talking prices, deposits and collection dates

. Luckily by the next morning he had come to his senses, and baled out. Nice enough chap, but I had sowed some seeds as to whether the car was suitable for his needs....

I must admit, I appreciate the car much more now, having nearly seen it sold: its been used every night since, and booked in for a local classic car show on Sunday.

The red 911T with the air filters was the one I spotted a while ago, turns out he has joined DDK, but can't get on-line (something to do with his E-Mail address?). Unfortunately he left before I could grab his details and pass them back to Bootsy.
