I've been 'lurking' for a while and reading this daily Mark - enjoy your 'new' car; it's brilliant what you've achieved and I'm sure it will continue to give you many, many more years service.
2006 RHD 997 Carrera (but DDK remains in my heart - also now no longer)
1972 LHD 2.4T with '73 2.4T CIS motor - gone to a new DDK home
1994 RHD 993 Carrera - gone!
1968 LHD 911L - was the Wife's but now in new hands :-(

Car looks fabulous Mark and well done on that hard 'home based' work - very inspiring. Enjoy the trip and everyone keep safe.

Is it my glasses or does Mark look like Mike Bainbridge (in that shot)?

Car looks great and good luck/fun to CLM and back safely and rattle-free.

I'm just thinking where does Ian get those extra long T shirts from? It's almost the length of a dress.

Just a note to say I edited my thank you post to include Russ for his generous cambox mercy- dash across the Lake District thanks Russ and sorry for missing you off (was bound to happen)

Car has driven brilliantly on the way down - been able to give its legs a proper stretch
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah
