Indicator bulb in dash
Hi Folks,
Could anyone tell me how to change the light bulbs in the speedo for the indicators?

Pull out the speedo, at the rear will see the bulb holders which have an interference fit with the bulb, just pull out the relevant bulb and replace

Your gauges (if originals) are held in the dash by means of metal clamps secured by knurled nuts.
You access these from within the front compartment (after removing the full-width cover over the heater, etc).
It might be easier to change the bulb(s) without removing the gauge (I can't remember how inaccessible it is as it's a while since I owned a '69 or earlier car).

It doesn't say James but all 912's had the earlier style gauge fitting

Hi I did this recently. Open the bonnet and undo the carpeting, via the strap, in front f the gauges then you can just pull out the bulb directly from the back of the gauge. No need to remove the gauges.
