I think its an early type3 flat motor..

yup, out of a type 3

I think they're basically a type 1 motor with 'pancake' style cooling out of Fastbacks, Notches and alike.

You can tell cos its got the exhausts exiting the sides of the heads, rather than underneath like a Type 4.

mid to late 60's?
