FS: Cardboard cover. New from AppBiz in US to Europe

Post by PMNorris »

All,

I need to buy a new cardboard cover for a hole under the dashboard. The only place I can find this is AppBiz in US. The part is only $15, but shipping to Poland is $25. In an effort to reduce shipping costs, I thought I could buy a few and then distribute them if anyone in Europe would like to split the cost. The final cost will be $15 + (shipping cost from US / number bought) + (onward shipping costs / number bought)

Here's a photo of the part

and here's where it goes

Please PM me if you would like one and I will calculate the cost before going ahead. I intend to place the order at the end of Jan.

Regards
Paul

The second picture is one I took of my old 2.4T - you can see the original cardboard cover resting on the sheetmetalwork to the rhs of the smuggler's box.

I bought about 40 of these cardboard plugs last year for some Italian fellow enthusiasts ... I can really recommend Bob Breshears at AppBiz ... very efficient and pleasant to do business with him!

Haven't seen these new editions compared with the real things ... the repros from AppBiz were perfect, imho.

Thanks all. I'll try ordering one from Porsche first unless you have some left Biancaneve?
