Sold up

Post by early_911 »

Yesterday I sold my 911  . I’ve had a fantastic time with it during my decade of ownership, but it’s time for someone else to enjoy it. Rest assured I fully intend to ‘waste’ the proceeds on petrol driven machinery, but it’s likely to be something less precious that can be used come rain or snow (plus maybe another bike).

Definitely a sad day, but over the last couple of years my spare time has mostly been spent on 2 wheels.

The new owner and his partner are a fantastic couple and it’s clear it’s going to be well looked after and cherished. I thank them for making the process painless. The new owner knows about DDK.

Thanks also to all DDK members . . . . you’ve added to the enjoyment, helped me out at times (particulary Barry) and apart from Bootsy  you’ve all been good, honest, decent people.

Phil

Hi Phil

That is sad news but all good things come to an end.

Make sure you keep in touch with DDK and lets hope the lucky new owner appears.

All the best

As said via PM Phil, sad to lose you from the fold. Don't be a stranger though - and thanks for the compliment!

Probably a good thing really - as I've said before this Porsche marlarky was showing it's years on your rugged face.

Phil

All the best for whatever comes next. Sad to see your car go I'm sure. I hope we don't lose track of it or you to DDK. It was great 'sharing' a spot on the campsite at CLM a year or two back with you and your car. A good time and got to see your lovely car up close for a couple of days.

One of the best early 911's in the UK !

Regards
Mike

Sorry to hear the news Phil, but good luck with the bikes and whatever you replace the Porsche with.
