Any tips or ideas for windsreeen demister? I ve only got J tubes ,so no heat exchangers ,Ive saw the fans & heating elements ! :? but do thay work ????? :?

On dash hot air heater / blaster? Plugs into cigar lighter socket.

Ive got a heated screen but not sure its going to be very effectve as lines are top and bottom only!

I was under the impression the heated screen had an element similar to the Ford idea being the whole windscreen was the element. I do know a guy who has the Chesil heated windscreen and is happy with the performance of it. Not sure what type of element his is though.

l've got no heater box's either, went the webasto route but not had it running properly yet. Need to change the feed fuel pipe to a smaller inner bore as it appears to be having a problem with air bubbles in the pipe which makes it stall whilst driving. Works fine on the drive though, which is useless really. I have been using an outlet on the bottom rear of the fan housing which l hooked up to the sub-chassis vent pipes at the rear. Works rather well and keeps the windscreen clear in the rain. You do still need a coat on depending on if your a weathered-man :wink: although it doesnt counteract the drafts coming in :lol:
