Some info to get you palette watering

The tour will start at their factory/main office (which has a large car park). They will take us on a short hike through the red wine hiking trail, stopping to taste three wines on the way. We then head back to their office for a tour of the wine cellars and wine museum. As part of the cellar tour there will be a further two wines to taste plus one champagne. The tour is approximately two hours long and costs 17€ per person.

They are flexible on the tour start time and are happy to work around our schedule. Their only restriction is that it is day light! We will work on a 14:30 start time, that would give us plenty of time of a late start on Sunday, with about an hour drive or so, arriving at the local town for 13:00, giving everyone the chance to grab a bite to eat before the tour starts.

We can then head back to Nurburg with a nice drive the some passes, tunnels and along the Ahr river. Getting back in plenty of time for the guys to get ready for the BBQ.
