It only measures 75mmx100mm25mm and is good for 80watts. Thats good enough for what l want. Next was speaker grills, again something that would look right. Was looking at some repro's but at $200 plus just for speaker grills, no thanks. So went to work making my own. Here's what l came up with at a cost of £20
Seen speakers mounted in various places on speedsters at shows, but again needed to be discreet. Went with the original oval ones for more of a period look. More of an metal man but for a first attempt with glass was impressed with the outcome.
Decided to mount them in the front wheel well's.

Needed to cut holes in the new carpets to let the music through, worked well in the end.

Next was to make a cover panel to hide everthing under the dash that you can see, wire loom etc etc. Why Chesil or Pilgrim etc dont use a cover panel to hide everything is beyond me, as it just tidy's it all up and very little expense. l Used whats called Mill-board.
Thats it job done, l now have music from my iphone or can use the radio station apps. Bonus is ,it can be used as hands free when driving to. From memory the little amp only cost around £50 shipped, speaker around the same and £20 for grill covers. So for £120 for a full set up, not bad???
