Woohoo cars back
registered tested and fully road legal. Not got the reg yet so need this before I can get the plates made up.
Next question - I want silver on black pressed steel. Is it ok to have a square plate on the back ?

just need to get Gary at the Speedster Clinic to do the interior and roof and a couple of other bits, so way its going next year lol! Might try to drive down to Exeter Kit show tho...
reg will be here next week with a bit of luck so can take it for a drive.
Steering feels awful so I guess a steering geometry set up / proper wheel alignment wouldn't go amiss.
Need an exhaust making up too.
Might try to get bumpers fitted this weekend. Might go for nerf bars tho...

There you go, another car passed the IVA. So dont let it put you folks of building one. As long as you have a few organs spare to sell to complete the build.
l have a square plate on the back, thinking about it thought not seen many with the long one's on the rear.
l think Steve is geting itchy fingers with his camera to take a few snap shots Paul. Stafford show is just round the corner, see if you can make it??

Might try that if I can get the car rewired. It's seems Arden have bypassed fuses etc instead of fixing problems...the reverse light stopped working apparently so instead of trying to see if gear stick needed adjustment - it was also hard selecting gears which kind of gave it away, they just bypassed all the wiring and added their own! Now nothin works properly the morons. Lights are blowing fuses and brake lights stuck on.
Honestly for what I paid they have done sod all. still got leaks from drive shaft that they were supposed to fix. Steering is awful. They were also supposed to be tidying my wiring... I did a better job.
All I'd say to anyone building their own is do exactly that. I hired a so called professional firm and they made it worse, God knows how they got it through iva.
These clowns are the mutaya dealer too!!
I'm currently wondering what to do about it. What they did was rubbish over budget and other things not done at all. They even charged me for wheel spacers and kept them

Re: Woohoo cars back
Hiya...I am new to DDK so not sure if this will work...in answer to your question yes provided that you have a 1972 or prior plate you can get away with it. I have them on my 1972 Speedster (re-registered 2008) which was based on. 1972 chassis. I have a pressed black and silver plate on mine.

Hi - introduce yourself
(and the car - is it an ex DDK owners car?)
Plates should be here today or tomorrow (black and silver) ... sorted all the electrical stuff Arden cocked up. Wish I hadn't bothered putting it into them now oh well.
Kevs not Kev any longer either - unfortunately been allocated a new age related plate.
Paul
