Post by bonerp »

Will be needing a car cover - for indoor use just to save it getting dusty.

Any recommends?

Don,t laugh  I bought a dust cover sheet from Poundland tied a couple of weights on the corners and it works great ,wind blows in when garage door opens and inflates up like a cacoon no dampness around it .Have one over the Boxster as well .

On a serious note I have seen some advertised for around £200 fitted ones for a 356 the only thing is if car does not get moved for months will dampness not get drawn up from garage floor .I have carpets on my garage floor ,not fitted ones that would be too posh  and seems to eliminate this .

I am purely testing the water to see if anyone is interested ,I really like the car and the idea behind it is to sell that and the Boxster and buy an older car 911/912 .As i am retired I cannot afford /justify buying new cars anymore and loose thousand each year that was ok when I was in business .No idea how to link it on to DDK site no doubt some one will tell me how to do it
