Im waiting for a guy i know who can figure out why it will turn over but not fire up.
I dont think its a major thing but should be fine in time for dubfreeze.
Ive never been before but hopefully my powers of persuasion will allow us to park them somewhere safer/on show.

I defiantly won't be going now no matter what the wife says!! My clutch cable snapped this morning taking the kids to school
Now I trying to get a new cable which is proving difficult to say the least! Can you imagine the conversation on the phone......"Hello, I've got a Speedster, it based on a shortened Beetle with a Porsche 911 engine and gearbox. Have you got a clutch cable that will fit?" :?:
Any ideas or help please!!??

Ian try these in Notts:
http://www.speedograph-richfield.com/

You'll need to take you old cable with you, well at least both ends and the length and they will make one up for you.

I had them make up some handbrake cable for a Polo I had years ago that was running Golf Gti discs all round. Didn't cost much and they made it while I waited. They have a very extensive range of fittings.
