Remember that most of the early implements like that reaper/binder were originally designed to be powered by one or two horsepower

I hadn't tought about it that way - So this is one hell of a hot rod by those standards!

My Uncle and Great-Uncle on their farm in Co Wexford in the early 1950's, while there were still 2 horses working.

I can remember my Dad pointing out to us the strange new Diesel tractors that were coming on to the farms then. They had no radiator in the front!
