Chesil's new Chassis

Any one go to the classic show and visit the Chesil stand .Are they going to use this new chassis or stick with the old beetle format .Since I have had mine it attracts so much attention every where i go and joe public think it is the real deal .I think it would be a whole lot better with more modern gear fitted ,then that is the appeal of the car in its present state .

you can update the front to rack and pinion steering with independant coil over shock and fit coil overs to the rear. Check out http://www.red9design.co.uk/type1.htm
Ive got mine on order, only problem is theres a 5-6 week wait, will keep you posted when l get it all fitted.
