I got my hood from gary at the speedster clinic. It is the low bow type, and so doesnt stick up at the back like the Chesil ones.

I am very happy with it.

Have not seen a M and W hood so I cant really comment on that one.

356,
Will this fit a chesil with wind-up windows l see you use the drop style windows with the hood.

Hi rich

the hood is designed to fit with drop in windows as you stopped
so its a no but if you really wanted one i could get a new pattern made to fit your windows , I would really need your car in to do this

Low-Bow hoods

Post by miltonmount »

Here's a picture of my low-bow hood, purchased from Chesil last Nov. The pic was taken at the Classic car show at the NEC, where my 356 was on the Chesil stand. The hood is the first one Chesil supplied and I believe it was made by S J Bowles. I think Chesil now supply these hoods, and there are no height issues unless you wear a top hat. files.me.com/schon1/qyda3z
