A great set of photos from Roadrunner.
I was unable to be there but it certainly looked like a great day out with super weather and some really interesting cars.
I wonder, does the Gold Coupe in Photo 144 belong to a DDKer? If so I would be interested to know the paint code as I think it is the same colour as my Targa was before being changed to GP White.
Twenty years ago gold was not an “in colour” but I plan to take my car back to its original finish one day, I have never seen the original colour on another car, other than in a photograph of a 914 a long time ago and I would be interested to know if this coupe is the same (rare) colour.

Hi Roadrunner & Rich
What a stunning looking car.
I have seen the Colour Code Chart before, however the paint code on my Targa is not 133 but 144. What a coincidence - I asked about the colour of the car in photograph 144 of Roadrunners portfolio!!!
Anyway my key objective would be to find a car which is actually painted in 144, Although I am mentally committed to making the change one day it would be good to know what to expect. I am fairly confident that the original colour was different (darker) to 133, I do have some poor photographs from 1989 when I bought the car.
If you search on the Glasurit Classic Car Colours website there are 5 1970 -73 Gold Metalics but without any additional information on shades.
PORSCHE GOLD MET 088 1973-1973
PORSCHE GOLD MET 133 1972-1973
PORSCHE GOLD MET 144 1973-1973
PORSCHE GOLD MET 8810 1970-1973
PORSCHE GOLD MET 8888 1970-1973
144 appears to be a 1973 only colour
As an aside: The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity(?) for my RS Rep quotes the Paint code as 3838 Emeral Green but it was originally (from from the code label) 225 Viper Green. On the Glasurit website 3838 and 225 are both described as Viper Green of which there appears to be 4 versions

Pic taken from my 996GT3RS today travelling back from Birmingham to London - shame could not get a reflection as we have the same colour scheme.
Is this a known car?

I know the car very well (or at least I used to, as I worked on it back in the early 90's) - it's a very rare car being one of only 17 RHD 'Lightweights' ...Little Rascal 356 wrote: Is this a known car?

I don't think the car or the owner were at Hedingham - I certainly didn't see them.
As for it's current value, it's very difficult to say - but back in the early '90's when 'we' bought it (!), it was reputedly the 2nd most original RHD 'Lightweight' in the world ...
By the way, if it was heading towards London, it was probably on its way to Autofarm.

Yes it was - saw a similar aged car in orange 5 miles ahead complete with roll cage, racing numbers etc. Older gent driving, very smart gave us a little wave as we let him past.

All the Gold Colour Codes are exactly the same colour formula.
And both the Greens are the same colour as well. The other Viper green colours are metallic.
If you would like I could send you a colour sample spray out panel if you think it would help?
Regards Mark.
