A number of years ago I spoke to Chris Wren as he had owned my '62 coupe. I have his contact details at home from that time (he may of course have moved since) and am happy to pass them on if you want.

Just checked through info i have here. There is a Register document from PCGB and states .( forgot i had this)

Mr C Wren was the owner in 1992, Also have a previous owner

MR AH Oundjian.

anybody know if he is still a member etc

Hi Roy.
I am the guy that sold the 356 to Jon. I bought all the 356's off Chris Wren, he is a friend of mine and now lives in Portugal. I also have 3 0ther cars that I bought from him including a very rare matching numbers 356 a Rhd convertible that I am restoring in the next couple of years.
The car that Jon bought sat in a barn for 15 yrs and I bought it along with a 365 a coupe for restoration that is also lined up for restoration.

Hi Dave,

Well you certainly have an interesting collection, like Hendrik all RHD drive also. How interesting it is when you can start to evaluate who owned a car from the early sixties by having previous owners helping out with history. No doubt Jon will ask you for his address in Portugal.

This sort of information would probably never happen if the car was a Ford Anglia from 1960!

Unfortunatly Dave does not know Chris Wren's address for portugal.

one thing he does know is Chris bought exactly as i did so now need to find the owner before.

think a letter to dvla after christmas will through any light.

It's always worth writing to the DVLA, for £5? you get all the previous documents on the car. Though usually it doesn't go back very far.

not sure how it will go, maybe they will only give details of 565NOK as thats registered to me . as i know YOB3 is on another 356

would be nice to get that back.
