The Revival was once again amazing. The racing was close & exciting. Given it's heritage it's not surprising there was a lack of Porsches but where else can you see a MkII Jag race & lose to an Austin A35. In the last race (the Witson Cup) we had GT40s falling off in unison with swb Lolas. Madness .
Warning pants quality camera phone pics (again)
Given there was a nasty looking rusty blubbly spot under the rear window doesn't the price seems on the high side? Still I guess it is an unmolested RHD '67 911S

Doesn't it look great with the original 4.5 inch rims. You become so used to seeing them on VWs that you forget what they are supposed to look like on the right car.
Very true! That's what I was trying to capture with 3rd shot.
I like the 'beetle' headlamp glass too. Is that correct for the car?
The Hella fogs are glorious too.

No, I missed that one.
I didn't really get a chance to have a good look thru the car park I was too intent on the racing
Seriously considering making a weekend of it next year, maybe do a walk round day on Saturday & get Woodcote grandstand seats for the Sunday.

I was there Friday and Saturday, but missed the racing on Sunday of course. There is not much peripheral stuff going on, but the racing is fantastic. I had Woodcote seats on Friday, a great spot to watch the cars drifting through the corner, then Chicane seats on Saturday, could't see nearly as much but the big screen was straight opposite.
Did anyone try calling the owner od the red 67S, I get a "number no longer in service" message?
I don't believe so, but I'm not 100% certain.
Our house is 20mins from the circuit & I've got a back garden you can share with the spaniel if you fancy
Nick - I've just tried that number, I too get "I'm sorry this number is currently out of service"
I had the same message when a friend of mine was "between" mobiles - he drove off with it on the roof .. .. .. Once the replacement phone turned up I was able to get thru on his original number.
