Post CLM thanks......
Just a note to say thank you to James (hot66) for organising the tickets for CLM - it was amazing to see so many people from the DDK in one place.

thanks
sorry I didn't get to say hello .... tried to get around to everyone, but I spent quite a lot of time off the campsite at various locations around the circuit ( the air conditioned super market cafe being one
) so seemed to miss some of you.
With the camping , it's all the DDK'ers that make it what it is

Well said: great job James!
Whilst we're on thank-you's, very many thanks to a certain Mr Parr for the ride, not to mention the drive as well: top chap, but I suspected as much anyway
.
Also a heartfelt thanks for the encouragement and comments: all taken on board and appreciated.
Finally, as said above, yet again the DDK crowd really came together in what could have been somewhat tense conditions. As the heat grew and grew, so did the DDK spirit: three times (at least) we were sheltering under trees, by the road watching the world go by, when either ice lollies or iced water would appear from a 911 as it returned from the shops, so thank-you Mike U., Russ and James (E'yLife) for your cool deliveries.

Many thanks James.
Another fantastic DDK event, the only downside is that so many folk turn up to you cant get round to see everyone.
My brother Paul is still bouncing about the drive, the racing and the DDK spirit
Kind Regards

Just to add my thanks to everyone for making it a great event - long live the DDK spirit and don't let it be changed by the need for too much organisation. Example - Sunday night meal - 30+ people turn up at various intervals for an unbooked meal, food is eaten, drinks drunk, banter exchanged, bill paid, all without a hitch, because of everyone's laid back approach (not least the restaurant staff!) Imagine that happening in some other 'clubs'.
Special mention to James for organisation, Rich for route down, and not least Jason 964RS for generosity above and beyond the call (maybe some video to follow).

Yes many thanks James for sorting all this even though I was a last minute entry.
Thanks to Philip for letting me have his ticket when he couldn't go to.
Had a fantastic time, the company was brilliant and made some great friends who had previously just been Usernames
Will definitely be there in 2012.
PS Just washed the RSR and only took a few hours to get rid of the thick layer of dust and grime inside and out! Sporting some nice CLM stone chips now too....so really getting bedded in!

Thanks for the organising James, greatly appreciated! Was great to see everyone and put some more names to faces.
Sorry to hear you had car problems on the way back, but hope it gets sorted out as quickly and painlessly as possible. Look forward to meeting up again sometime soon.....
Cheers
Chris

DDK - What a uniformly fabulous group of people. I am always amazed how compatible we all are.
Many thanks to James for setting it all up - it is really awful news about the breakdown but nice to know that the Footman James recovery works ok - I did not trust it and got the RAC as well to be sure to be sure.
Thanks to Rich for a great route down and Phil for guiding me through the general melee of the parade lap and Sladey for looking after me when I was frequently lost. And everyone else for being great company and making it all such a wonderful experience. Roll on the next gathering.
