Where is this Portsmouth/Caen ferry group planning to stop off on the way to LeMans and can anyone make an estimate of when ?
We'll be several hours behind on the road having got the early ferry on Thursday morning to Cherbourg but I'm always up for a challenge to catch up !! Sees for luchtime might be a stretch but if you are planning a 'leisurely extended lunch' then we might have a chance.

does anyone have a good idea of a driving route - apparently we can't enter the campsite area until 2pm Thursday so we should make the most of the 6 hours between ferry exit and Le Mans

Jason,
Some of us are meeting at a pub earlier in the evening. A bit more inland this time (with a bigger car park than 2 years ago venue)
It's about 20 minutes from the ferry terminal .
Find the Seven Stars, on the A272, just off the A3 near Petersfield.
Probably be there around 7.30-8.00pm-ish.

We are leaving Norwich around lunchtime so could be the first to the Seven Stars.
Bear in mind we will be stopping for regular feeds and nappy changes though.
And that's just me! Harry will need to stop a few times also.

Well the jinx of CLM has struck me now
rough running and backfiring....spent the day at BS Motorport trying to track down the problem without too much luck
Car is now going to Bob Watson's tomorrow to hopefully trace and remedy the problem.
*has fingers crossed*
