New shocks, springs and anti roll bars do make a difference!!!

This is the top bend, approached via a chicane, followed by 200yds to accelerate and is coned to encourage you to approach the brake board (just above the passenger's head) in the right place for the turn in marker which is just out of shot bt would be directly behind the drivers side of the car about another 50 yds on from the brake board just out of the shot. After this bit it opens out to a massive flat out corner with acres of space to experiment.
(Its the light cover thats on the p155 on the drivers side that needs adjusting
And yes its an open trackday with an open pitlane-

Yo G3ngs,
Didn't realise but there are TWO track days on at Bruntingthorpe on Saturday, The easytrack one , and one run by a group of Sylva kit car people. I'm booked in with the Sylva crowd as I have run with them before..... This time instead of sharing the track with Easy track, as they always have done in the past, they have their own circuit set out at the southern end of the venue. It seems that I might not seen you guys in the end anyhow !
As the 911 still need the exhaust fixing on, I may even end up in an MX5. Hope the day goes well for you. I'll try to pop over and say hello at some point during the day.
Show that Escort shopping car where to go ! 300bhp maybe, but still a shopping car !

may well see you anyway, as I'm pretty sure that other clubs book big chunks of the easytrack space, last time there was a aged ford club there, I say that because looking at the easy track website is that one day a big block booking appeared on there which has no cars names against it.

No didn't see you there you must have been at the other track.
This track was huge about 4 minutes to lap it.
Of note included-
1 A Pug 205 losing a wheel due to alloy wheel nuts warming up
2 A Clio that showing how not to lift off oversteer and came to rest under one of the aero planes
3 About 4 Nobles that were definitely not racing, honest
4 A Radical
5 Vauxhall Holden VX1 thingies, very good going straight and crap every whereelse
6 And this shot

Just the way it turned out I was parked then the 996 turned up and then this 3.2 Carera powered RHD 912 with tasty RS bits turned up (driven by a guy called Alex who hopefully will be on here soon, next project involves a 993 engine and this car
)
PS- Guess which car is my brother's tow car

Yes, we were on the other track. Screaming round in a MX5 and PT cruiser (TeeHee) along with a load of 7esque kit cars. The MX5 slides really well. Glad we took a spare set of tyres with us.
Had a lap round in a 350bhp Sylva phoenix, running a sierra cosworth turbo motor, sticky slicks and talented driver (i.e not me !!) Wow.
A good day was had by all. And by comparison, our session was event free !
Must fix the 911 now, just need the exhaust fixing back on.... manifold studs now drilled tapped and helicoiled ready...
