Well done Spent a great week in Orkney but imagine our surprise when we sat down on the second day of our holiday to watch Top Gear and they were in Orkney with that ulgy car. Didn't exactly know where they went but came across Zanzibar but chance during our travels.
Would highly recommend Orkney; beautiful islands, 5000 years of history, great roads and Highland Park
Think it was filmed a couple of months ago as I saw same car in a lay-by on the A30 here in Cornwall. Didn't twig at the time.
I mentioned I'd seen one to our local OPC when I was picking up my fuel tank fitting and he said 'impossible!' and I did mention it was pig ugly but he still wasn't convinced... he said they look a lot like the Mazda but bigger, maybe I wasn't looking closely enough.
I think he thought that was a good thing, looking like a Mazda that is.
