Telly's best whoopsies - from The Sun today

Post by butzsi »

Some of the best verbal slip-ups made by telly stars.....

Racing commentator Ted Walsh "This is a really lovely horse, I once rode her mother"

Pat Glenn weightlifing commentator "And this is Gregoriava from Bulgaria. I saw her snatch this morning and it was amazing"

A US golf commentator "One of the reasons Arnie is playing so well is that before each tee shot, his wife takes out his balls and kisses them"

Carenza Lewis about finding food in the Middle Ages on Tony Robinson's Time Team. "You'd eat beaver if you could get it"

A female newsreader who the day after it was meant to have been snowing but did not, turned to the weatherman and asked. "So Bob, where's that eight inches you promised me last night?" The weatherman and half the crew had to leave the studio.

Steve Rider covering the US Masters "Ballersteros felt much better today after a 69 yesterday.""

Ken Brown commentating on golfer Nick Faldo and his caddie Fanny Sunneson lining up shots on the Scottish Open. "Some weeks nick likes to use Fanny, other weeks he prefers to do it by himself."

New Zealand Commentator Murray Mexted, on a new rugby rule. " I don't like this new law, because your first instinct when you see a man on the ground is to go down on him."
