Just to remind folk what F1 used to be like, balls to the wall, transcendental driving and not an electronic aid in sight

You still get close exciting racing in top class motorsport... just don't bother with F1.

Sebring (ALMS) last weekend was awesome, wheel to wheel racing between the brand new Audi R15 and the Peugeot 908 for almost all of the 12 hours.

Not quite as exciting as the legendary Arnoux/Villeneuve laps, but still edge of your seat stuff, for example:

Got to agree that Sebring was fantastic last weekend, 22 seconds separated them in the end. Two completely different cars; V10 open top Audi and V12 Peugeot coupe. They also had different strategies in the race with tyre changes at every fuel stop for Audi and every other for Peugeot.

If the ACO get the formula correct we could see petrol cars in the mix for the 24 hour at Le Mans!

Great piece of footage spoiled only by the annoying background drone of that Clarkson person.
