Is it a special tool for extracting water from 5-cylinder turbo diesel engines?

I thought so.
Could be, although I dont think it will fix bent conrods!!

My dad was a watchmaker, and i have some of his old kit.
Weird and wanderful items in similar wooden boxes, but I've not seen anything like this amongst what I have.

Mani, I guess it might be something that needs to be level, given the tripod-section and the floating disc on the other bit...

navigation equipment.

my father used to have equipment that looked like this (from my terrable memory) for map making and plotting.

But all his equipent has numbers/measurments markings :?
