Hello all.
I took this lot from a 914-6 which looks to have done very little work.
Its all correct and orginal stuff: Hurth cogs etc..
The ratios are , as you all know:
AA-F-J-O-S
Pretty rare then!
I will probably hoard it all, until I get a round tuit, but might let them go for serious money to feed my racing habit..
The diff is worth well North of 1k, I have never ever seen a J before, and AA firsts and O 4th's are also rare..
The pinion shaft and crownwheel are mint too..
As a package, I'd take £3,800 right now.
I'm less keen to sell the numbers matching 914-6 case, but....
Kind regards
David

If I was you, I'd also advertise on the early 911 registry forum.

Thanks, Bruce.
I forgot to add that this set is from 71, so has the later and much stronger mainshaft, but of course the gears and shafts will fit any 901 911, 914 or indeed 906 etc box from 1964 to 1972 August.
The diff is however tha later style, and fits from 1968 to 1978, 901,911, and 914, as wrell as the earlier mag case 915's.
it will also fit any 915 provided the correct output flanges are used (quite a good mod for the SC etc as the earlier CVJ's are much stronger, oddly!)
Kind regards
david
