For sale 1971 2Ltr Porsche 914 Full 12 months MOT ***SOLD***

Post by porker914 »

I am reluctantly selling my 1971 Porsche 914 which I know I will dearly miss. Its only done just less than 2000 miles since last years MOT. MOT was done yesterday 10-November 2007 and sailed through.

Californian car imported into UK in February 2002 and is fully UK registered with me being the second owner in UK.

The car was fully restored back in USA in 1998 ( I have folders of receipts and photos of what was done. The gearbox was changed for the later sideshift gearbox which is 5 speed.

• It has a new clutch fitted about 1000 miles ago.
• Stainless steel heat exchangers
• Bursch Sports exhaust
• Fully reconditioned rear disc callipers
• Totally restored battery tray area which is the Achilles heal of all Porsche 914’s
• Has the desirable centre consol with working gauges.
• Pinestriping by neil melliard this year at VW action

Hi David,
Where did you get the image in your signature? I remember seeing a neat website where you could create your ideal custom VW or Porsche but I can't remember where it is now!

and beat me by a day!!!

it was on the porsche selecta that i played about with the idea of having the pegasus image and the red wall tyres done.

so the image came first before the incarnation of what my car looks like.

Still be a shame to see her go but then again these days its hard to sell a car so may still have her for next year!!!!

Not a bad thing just i cant drive 2 914s at the same time!!!

As i hope one of my others will be on the road for next year

jon i cant remember now but i probably saved it as a jpeg and just used photoshop to edit the size ??

then use go into your account and add the image code at the end of your signature.

so does that image resemble your 914?
