Alan.uk's latest restoration projects

[early2.2S]

Hi,
Stopped by at Alans' for a tea and a natter the other day and came upon his latest restoration projects. He is currently restoring a "2.2S" and an "E" which look as though they are going to be amazing when finished.



The 911E is a customer car but the 2.2S is Alans' and should be finished in approx two months - to say the restoration is comprehensive would be an understatement! - few piccies of the shell (2.2S in foreground)







The geabox and engine have apparently both been rebuilt (twice!) - could this car possibly be better than when new??!

I should add those cars are currently stored at home, as the workshop is a little full at the moment.
