Hi All,
Just to introduce myself, Tricky from North London, I've been dipping into the forum for a while but as I've just picked up a 1970 911T Targa Cali import (via Ireland) I though I'd better go formal.
I drove her back from Cork and she drives like a dream, my one gripe is the gearbox is like stirring treacle (with a bag of spanners thrown in). Are they all this bad or am I unlucky, and can you fit a later box to them?
Thanks all
Tricky

Welcolme Tricky ! Presumably the gearbox is a 5 speed dog leg style with first beneath reverse ? If thats the case the box should be very smooth but can take a little getting used to. Excellent for fast downshits from 3rd to 2nd.
