911 / 914 parts for sale

Post by rhd racer »

All - time for a garage clearout, any good homes out there for these bits?

Full set of early 911 steel calipers with matching discs (19/20mm thickness). Calipers painted blue but don't let that put you off - fronts were rebuilt and the rears were exchange units - both done 5k miles - £200 the lot (if going on a 914 you need to be creative with the handbrake)

911/914 front suspension legs - 12 adjustable settings, built by Leda for me - again £5k miles old, cost £340. Will sell for £170 will matching ball joints / bolts of same age (caliper spacing as above - for early non-S calipers)

914 front and rear suspension legs - totally standard, front hubs/discs included. Pair 914 seats, been stored leatherette type, need small repair - the lots is free to a good home if you collect them

Type 4 / 914 engine case (VW CJ series) with x2 1700 cranks - one reground with new bearings and lightweight rods, the other balances and complete. x2 flywheels, x2 mild cams, x1 heavily modified head (long story), weber 40IDF on manifolds unused, come with tyco linkage but no filters, new and unused 009 dizzy, lots of bits and bobs. Need the space, so it needs to all go together - £400 ONO

914 rear arch lips - cut from brand new genuine wing panels to fit my GT arches - just the job if yours need repairing - £25

911/914 - 380mm steering wheel - no damage, just needs TLC - offers

914 fuel tank - standard, fair cond £20

I am based 15miles east of Nottingham, but travel a fair bit so may be able to deliver / meet at a Speed Championship event etc....

Thanks,
Wayne

Hi Wayne

does the fuel tank have the charcoal cannister thingy? Somehow I have managed to misplace mine in the space of the last 6 weeks!! I'd be interested in the whole tank as long as it is sound.

are you likely to be down this way?

cheers

Ian

Brakes!!!

I need some info on these if they are the right ones then yes please

I need calipers for 911T 1969 model reason they are for my 912 LWB and Alan Uk and the research I did say that they are a straight swap and then I have to get the discs which are easy so are they the wide body ones.

( Any one know what I mean ?? do you think they are the right ones??
)
But PM sent

Cheers

Mark

Guys

All PM's responded to, sorry for the delay due to being away on business (good time to post eh?!)

Ian - re the tank, due to my car being rhd and having to fabricate a tank, I've never really looked at it so don't know what you mean by the charcoal bit. The tank is complete (naturally) with sender unit, cap and the flow/return pipes underneath - if it is what you are after then I have an office in Newport now, so can bring it down - visit every two weeks or so - in exchange for a cup of tea!

Seats - no problem, but didnt get a pm - call me if easier. I work from home so can be totally flexible for when you want to collect

Martin - sorry mate, no rockers. Have only one head, being a heavily modded and flowed item which I bought as a pair finding one to be cracked / chemical metalled under the crime. Ended cutting it in half to measure the chamber dimensions to have another set of heads reworked to the same spec for my racecar, hence no other bits, sorry.

Regards
Wayne
