Shims???

Looking for shims now

so I can space off the rocker stand they need to be round and not th eVW ones I have found out are in fact square bugger

they are found in link pin kits any one got any??

Are used ones any good? I did a set of 64 beetle king pins recently. Have all the old shims somewhere........so you're going to use them to space the rocker assemblies?

thanks so far I have been ok I got the car back togeather ok and then I shimmed the cylinder base gaskets from .25 to a whoping 1.5mm this did lose me some compression ( not that you would know from Silverstone track day!! today ) and it gave me lots of adjustment at the valves when it was all assembled I did also shim ( 3 was on the old set up ) it with just on .15mm shim and like I say it seamed ok..

keep those shims you may need them and they are a pig to get.

I have now got some sheets of shim from the guys at my old work and that if any one else needs some it a realy handy thing to have
