1959 convertible D *SOLD*

1959 convertible D .
matching numbers ,
1600 super
originally supplied to U.S. service man in Germany then taken to California. photos showing cal black plates. Then owned by a doctor and entered in 356 registry concours with some first places over a few years. Brought to U.K. approx 19-20 years ago and kept by one owner as part of small collection. I bought it 18 months ago and had Andy Prill go through it doing whatever needed (Very little required).
Previously looked after by PORSCHE main dealer and Martin and Walker.
Rebuilt gearbox , and bare metal respray to body and chassis! and still in fantastic condition.
I bought it because it drove so well and you can tell this has always been a well looked after car- never been neglected.
one of only 1331 ever built and probably around 500-600 left.
A worthy successor to the speedster it replaced and still has the lines ,although much more useable in European climes.
With the price of speedsters climbing with each car sold this represents a much more affordable way to get the same buzz.

Call Rich on 07974 924 191 or pm for more info.
( bored looking girl in picture available by seperate neg)

Can we have some more pics of the girl please. Perhaps some of her looking slightly more cheery? Then I may be tempted to put an offer in :)

Price?

OK,Yes - I am another tyre kicker.. but I love the period look to the photo. It could be 1965. The feisty female makes it look even more intriguing - she could be an actress with a hangover who is late for lunch in Monaco.

Good luck with the sale.
