Colour
Yes I think the colour is lovely and certainly is on a par with my silver. If I had an earlier model it would certainly be a contender !

adria blau
ok its mine, thanks for the nice comments. its actually been colour matched to the underside of the dash, i have the original documents from the dealer in 53 and on the paperwork it says adria blua. many people commented on how nice the colour was. the car ran perfectly to camberg except for the abarth exhaust started to blow on the head. we managed to get some beetle gaskets ( forgot to take a hacksaw blade in my kit bag) luckily a very friendly german couple offered to let me use their tools and garage to modify them, while i was doing this my 2 mechanics were filing down the flange on the exhaust, got it back together and havent had a problem since. all in all we done 1900 kilometers, perfect show and met some very nice people including

I think I know who ownes this car. In the US
anyway I have got a sample card for the paint for 510 Rad green from John taken it to my paint place and we got a great match to the card for a toyota colour from the 80's and it's a perfect match to the card and I like the colour so now I have to buy the paint.. I think I need 5 ltrs as a min.. so going to buy 10 then I have it all with the activator for spare..
Now I need to find loop holes in the OZ import system to get the car in cheaper then the normal way and the 20% GST GRRRRRRR on what they value the car and not what i paid for it..
