Steering wheel boss fitting for early 911s

Dear DDK,

I am looking at a momo wheel on the internet that was fitted to a 3.2 carrera of '80s vintage. Would that boss fit my 1973 911 or is the boss size / fitting different. :?:

I use a heavy duty wire brush called a zipper wheel on the end of a small size angle grinder. Done 2 whole cars like that. Messy but at least it is a totally dry process.
