Vapour blast.....or use strips of emery cloth wrapped around the tube hold both ends and pull it back and forth....Ooooo Er Missus.

Thanks chaps , great stories. Yes I did mean 2 inch SU's. JC does some great cars, Im very taken with his 3000S especially the grille treatment. But Mrs H likes the original ...KJ yes still in the same place. I borrowed a trailer front Alan at Canford and Brought the Healey home today. Very pleased ...

The spring tension is actually a weight that they compress a given amount for when it's applied.As far as I recall the shims under the spring base are for setting the correct height for assembly. Adding shims does not compensate for worn out valvesprings. It's common to replace valve springs when re...
