Re: Dangerous bodger watch !!!

Hello All, My intention is not to offend anyone on hear, and I am sure Ben has done some fine work and has the awards to prove it, that is why I chose him to do the work. Dangerous bodger watch !!!

oil canister bolt

Hello All,
I have managed to misplace the oil canister bolt during my rebuild and I have tried everyone to get a replacement.
My car is a 67 with a silver coloured canister. The bolt size is a very unusual M11x 1.25 bolt.
If anyone can help please get in touch.

Many thanks

Re: Tyre question

Having looked around I think sprint Michelin are a bit pricey as are vred sprint classics, continental ct22 are cheap but a german brand and the pattern doesn't look to modern.

Tyre question

Hello All,
I have 4 Michelin tyres with lots of tread on my car (67 912) but they are cracking on the sides due to lack of use, etc.
New ones are expensive so are these safe to re-use ?
Your opinions are very much appreciated.

Many thanks

Safe car jacking

Hello All, I want to take all the wheels off my 912, i thought i could raise the rear by placing a jack with piece of timber under the back of the engine block and then put two axle stands under the circular piece that protrudes from the rear torsion/ axle strut area. Then raise the front under the ...
